Human Resources and Social Affairs Committee
The availability of competent and skilled managers is one of the most important pillars of success for the Lebanese banking system, on the one hand, at the service of the national economy, and, on the other hand, in the face of the increasingly severe competition.
Accordingly, the rehabilitation and training process acquires a strategic and practical dimension at the same time. The Association is well aware of this dimension, thus allotting it the necessary efforts, time, and capacities through developing the Center for Banking Studies that officially became on January 27, 2013, the Higher Institute of Banking Studies (ISEB), and focusing on specialized and qualitative training seminars and conferences.
The Committee is also in charge of following up the negotiations of the collective labor agreement, and then every aspect related to this agreement, on the one hand, for the issues related to the banks employees’ working conditions, salaries and indemnities, and, on the other hand, for the social projects and allocations which improve the living conditions of the banks employees, in parallel to the increase of their productivity.
