Banks closed on August 4, 2021 in commemoration of Beirut port explosion

The Association of Banks in Lebanon sent a circular to all banks members stating the following:

“In commemoration of the Beirut Port explosion and following the decision of the Board of directors, the Association of Banks in Lebanon asks all banks members to close on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, in memory of the victims and in solidarity with their relatives, and with the wounded and the affected.”
