Committed to promote a healthier life for community members especially the most vulnerable ones, “Un Coeur pour Philippe” (UCPP) organized with the collaboration of Banque Libano-Française, “Rire de Bon Coeur”, a stand-up comedy meant to raise funds to finance the UCPP activities and help patients with end-stage heart failure.
“Rire de bon coeur” was held at Théâtre Monot from 10 to 13 April 2014. It featured the French humorist of Lebanese background Yass (Yasser Hachem) as well as Chinois Marrant, Foudil Kaibou, Valery Ndongo, and the dancers Les Mecs de rue.
Launched in 2011, UCPP’s mission is to help patients with end-stage heart failure by providing them with heart pumps or covering their operation expenses and hospital charges, totally or partially. To date, the association has extended USD 860,000 to treat patients with end-stage heart failure.
