240 children from different parts of the capital were invited by Beirut Celebrations to a "Christmas Holiday Food Drive," in partnership with the Lebanese Food Bank and in collaboration with Fransabank. The children were selected through various charities organizations by the Lebanese Ministry of Social Affairs. Fransabank welcomed the children as part of this event which was held Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at its head office in Hamra. Recreation, games, music shows, dinner and gift distribution have punctuated the evening in order to give a smile to children and wish them a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
In this context, Mrs. Dania Kassar, Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications, expressed the gratitude of Fransabank for the efforts of the two organizers, Beirut Celebrations and the Lebanese Food Bank, with special attention for the Lebanese Food Bank. The latter, in fact, has a vision "to eliminate hunger in Lebanon by 2020," and aligns with the Bank's strategy in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility which puts poverty reduction at the heart of its priorities.
