ABL at the Official Ceremony of Author Amin Maalouf Investiture to the Académie Française

The Association of Banks in Lebanon was represented at the official ceremony of the entrance of the writer Amin Maalouf at the Académie Française by its president, Dr. Joseph Torbey and the Secretary General, Dr. Makram Sader. The ceremony took place on June 13 and was held in Paris, where Mr. Amin Maalouf, wearing the green coat, received the sword of the Académie Française.

The Association had participated in the patronage of the ceremony to honor Mr. Amin Maalouf, who has raised the image of Lebanon in the world, by his books and publications, and his election as a Member of the Académie Française which includes immortalized writers and philosophers of France.

On this occasion, ABL delegation attended the reception organized by the Académie Française which took place the day after the ceremony, in the presence of a large number of bankers and Lebanese figures, friends of Mr. Maalouf and French officials and personalities.
