Bank Audi announced today the launch of “Novo”, the first banking channel in the region that provides customers with a new interactive banking experience based on the concept of “Forward Banking”.
This new customer-oriented channel, the first version of which is set up at City Mall, marks a conclusive milestone in the banking industry across the Middle East and promises radical changes in consumers’ practice of banking.
H.E. Mr. Raymond Audi, Chairman – General Manager, seized the occasion to explain: ““Novo” is an innovative concept created by Bank Audi with customers as a top priority, since it consists in giving them full control of a world of interactive banking solutions. Customers can indeed navigate flawlessly on multi-touch interactive screens offering them tailor-made solutions to their personal banking needs, thanks to a cutting edge technology and a user-friendly interface.” He also chose to shed the light on “the first unit of “Novo”, a shell shaped architecture specifically designed to reflect a futuristic approach and an ultra-modern-looking space. “Novo’s” pearl white tint plunging customers in a relaxing atmosphere, the booth includes two information stations equipped with state of the art digital screens, two latest generation ATMs which, besides the usual ATM services, enable visitors to deposit cash money and cheques, and a private interactive room ensuring complete confidentiality.”
Dr. Imad Itani, General Manager – Head of Group Retail Banking, underlined “Novo’s” efficiency and practicality: “Visitors can browse through the Bank’s products and services and apply for them instantly. They can also benefit from the assistance of advisors at any time through video conference, whether in the two outside information stations, or within the privacy of its isolated advisory room.” He added: ““Novo” embodies a new definition of Retail Banking in the market, which is all about customer needs, satisfaction and easy access to banking. Operating in extended hours and open 365 days/year, “Novo” simplifies customers’ relationship with the Bank and makes banking an easier and more enjoyable experience.”
The backbone of the “Novo” application is built around complex interactions between visual dynamic controls and database. This ultimate digital banking experience based on seamless interactions, video conferencing and media components, was made possible by using highly developed tools including advanced design patterns, as well as hardware and software mechanisms which allow visitors to enjoy a multi-touch interface. Data is synchronized and fully secure and protected through sophisticated algorithms.
Bank Audi intends to deploy the “Novo” concept and its variations across the Group’s branches and entities in Lebanon and abroad during the coming months, thus spreading the latest technology the Bank and the banking industry have to offer.
