Bank of Beirut Opens its 2nd Branch in Jbeil and its 60th in Lebanon

Bank of Beirut Chairman and CEO Mr. Salim Sfeir vowed again and again his commitment to serve Lebanon, its economy and citizens, and reiterated his faith in the Lebanese youth. Mr. Sfeir's statement was delivered at the opening ceremony of the new branch in Jbeil.

In the presence of a large number of guests, and under the patronage of Father Milad Tarabay, President of Notre Dame des Secours University Hospital, Mr. Salim Sfeir inaugurated Bank of Beirut's second branch in Jbeil – Voie 13.

Mrs. Najwa Sweidan, Qaimacam of Jbeil, Mr. Ziad Hawat, President of the Municipality of Jbeil, Mr. Georges Khairallah, Head of the Industrialists Assembly in Jbeil, as well as Bank of Beirut's Board members, executives, customers and Jbeil residents, to whom the new branch has tailored special packages were present for the ribbon cutting.   

In his opening speech, Sfeir addressed Jbeil's residents, saying: "Your city has given the alphabet to the world, and our bank holds the name of the city that weathered destruction and devastation. Thus, we are committed to serving Jbeil and its residents, Lebanon and its citizens, no matter where they are and no matter where they go…" Mr. Sfeir also highlighted Bank of Beirut expansion strategy, and promised to reach 65 branches by the end of the year.
