And for the occasion, The Banker “commended BLOM Bank on its steady performance and financial strength at a time of difficult conditions for the Lebanese economy and banking sector.” And in a gala dinner held in London on 27/11/2014, Mr. Saad Azhari, Chairman and General Manager of BLOM Bank, thanked The Banker for the award, and added that “it represents an important recognition from one of the world’s most respected institutions of BLOM Bank’s solid financial position and the success of its vertical and horizontal expansion strategies and its leading status among regional Arab banks.”
