Byblos Bank announced a series of new features and improvements to its flagship Mobile Banking Application, including the much awaited Beneficiary Transfer Service.
Available exclusively for Byblos Bank clients, the Beneficiary Transfer Service enables users to access Byblos Bank’s Mobile Banking Application to make instant account-to-account transfers. Users have to add their beneficiaries by filling out specific information about them on the app, which will be then sent to the branch for approval.
“For all money transfers, whether to your children or relatives in Lebanon or abroad, or transfers as presents to your newlywed acquaintances, or even transfers for the settlement of loan bill payments within Byblos Bank, our Beneficiary Transfer Service is the perfect solution”, said Elie Sabbagh, Head of E-Channels Development Unit at Byblos Bank Group. “Once a beneficiary is added, the transfer will be completed in a just a few taps, free of charge”, he added.
Moreover, Byblos Bank’s Mobile Banking Application is now equipped with another feature, the universities’ tuition payment service, allowing students an easy means for the settlement of their payments. The Mobile Application, also, is now made available for the holders of the Makers Account, which is a unique account exclusively offered for the youth between the age of 18 and 24, as well as for the holders of the Debit Web Card, the new Internet card by Byblos Bank.
In 2014, Byblos Bank was the first Lebanese bank to allow customers to self-enroll on the Mobile Banking Application using their debit card credentials without the hassle of visiting the branch. Thousands of clients downloaded the application which received top reviews thanks to its convenience and simplicity in allowing clients to have seamless and easy access to their accounts, and hassle-free performance of major transactions.
