March 01 2014

A press conference was held on Wednesday February 26, at the Order of Engineers and Architects, between Fransabank and Credit Libanais to announce the launching of the E Payment Service with Syndicate of Engineers in Lebanon. On this occasion, the Chairman and General Manager of Fransabank Group delivered a speech, and said:

Welcome, and thank you for attending this event to announce the launch of the electronic payment to the Order of Engineers and Architects in Beirut, in a step forward, through which we aspire to head with the Lebanese people towards new horizons of electronic experiences, keeping them in pace with modern international banking standards in terms of leadership, efficiency, and comfort.

A joint cooperation, among Fransabank, Credit Libanais, Net Commerce Corporation, and the Order of Engineers and Architects in Beirut, has led to announce on February 26th, to the Lebanese citizen the birth of an updated technological service.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

It’s our clear business strategy, dynamic vision, and ability of creativity and innovation that make us at Fransabank continuously anticipate our customers’ needs with services of high and distinctive added value. The launch of the electronic payment service to engineers by credit card falls within this context, aiming at the development of Lebanon’s banking market in general.

Such a service is an essential tributary in our community’s efforts to keep pace with the rapidly developing technologies in all fields, after achieving what is known today as the E Government, reducing eventually the administrative bureaucracy, and alleviating its burdens and repercussions on Lebanese citizens in general and the Order of Engineers and Architects in particular.

Today, with a relatively large number of members, the Order of Engineers and Architects fulfills a mission, which is not limited to professional and scientific dimensions, but it also tackles important social tasks, thus positioning itself as the first defense line for engineers, and the guarantor of their legitimate rights and moral and financial interests.

In this respect, here we are launching an innovative, easy-to-use, guaranteed, instant, safe, and optional service that comes in harmony with our achievements records in this area, and with Fransabank’s slogan "Tomorrow starts now."

As a private sector, we welcome Minister of Economy, Dr. Alan Hakim, who is with us today, and we celebrate with Your Excellency the Lebanese government formation, filled with optimism that this government will prove to be the government of Lebanon, as a legitimate tool to achieve citizens’ interests and Lebanon’s goals. It’s definitely a positive start to pave the way for the coming presidential elections, and put an end to corruption in institutions. We, representing the Lebanese Economic Organization, believe that the only way out of this unprecedented recession is attained through national unity, refraining from involving Lebanon and its people in political schism, in order to save the country from the impasse threatening our economy and our Lebanon.

Finally,

Welcome again press and media representatives and thank you for being with us today in this conference, as you have always been covering our local and national events objectively and professionally.

May all Lebanese citizens enjoy a decent living with raised productivity and economic prosperity..

May God preserve Lebanon…

Thank you.
