During this period, a total of 56 Ipad 2’s will be given away. Draws will be held weekly under the supervision of the National Lottery and the names of the lucky winners will be announced at the beginning of each week.
On this occasion, Mr. Kassar highlighted the importance of this joint effort between both institutions which represents a reflection of the solid cooperation and long-standing relationship between Fransabank and MasterCard, as well as MasterCard’s confidence in Fransabank, as a pioneering player in the local and the regional payment cards markets.
Kassar declared: “This campaign sheds the light once again on the commitment of our Bank and MasterCard for excellence and innovation. It reflects our continuous strive to encourage the usage of payment cards as a regular payment method, and to provide our clients with efficient and attractive payment solutions that comply with the latest technological standards."
He added: "All the promotional campaigns that we conduct year-through confirm our eagerness to provide our loyal clients with top-notch products and excellence in service.” This has in fact been translated in financial indicators where Kassar explained that: “Recent market figures have shown that Fransabank cards business growth is exceeding the market average and as a result this encourages us to continue to strive ahead."
About the distribution of iPad 2 as rewards to the winners, Kassar commented: “The choice of those awards is not random, but it is the outcome of a well-established business strategy that aims at using and deploying means of modern communication both internally through the automation of our banking operations, and externally through our modern internet banking system which is considered the most advanced in Lebanon. By offering the light iPad 2 - with 64 GB, i.e. the largest capacity available in the market- our target is to make them handy for the client wherever he or she goes, to make the operation of accessing his or her bank account a simple touch away.”
Mr. Eltell declared: “We are proud of our long-standing and successful relationship with Fransabank and are delighted to once again, work closely with Fransabank to bring value-added benefits to MasterCard cardholders in Lebanon. Providing Fransabank MasterCard cardholders with value-added rewards allows both companies to further connect with cardholders, as they go about their daily payments.”
The press conference was attended by officials from the two institutions and a vibrant crowd of media representatives.
