On November 16^th, 2016, the President of the Association of Banks in Lebanon held a press conference at ABL premises addressing the economic media. In his speech, Dr Torbey outlined the most prominent indicators on the performance of the Lebanese banking and economic sectors during the first three quarters of 2016. He also talked about economic affairs and ABL’s prospects in terms of stimulating the national economy, especially in the beginning of a new presidential era and on the eve of the formation of its first government.

Following the conference, the Board of Directors hosted a luncheon in honor of the media representatives.
