Notre Dame de Louaize School named its remodeled Hall “The Salim G. Sfeir Auditorium”, a tribute to the Bank of Beirut Chairman for his numerous generous contributions and achievements in enhancing the development of the Lebanese society.
The ceremony was attended by Abbot Boutros Torbey, Head of the Mariamite Maronite Order and Father Charbel Haddad, Principal of Notre Dame de Louaize School, along with a considerable number of dignitaries from the educational, political, social, and media.
In his Speech delivered on the occasion, Father Charbel Haddad, principal of NDL School said: “Today, we are witnessing the remodeling of this auditorium and we are honored to have it bear for years to come the name of Dr. Salim G. Sfeir, a remarkable man and a dear friend of the Louaize Educational Institution, whose deployed efforts and contributions are most instrumental in the educational development of our establishment.”
Deeply humbled and gratified by this noble honor, Bank of Beirut Chairman expressed his profound gratitude to Notre Dame de Louaize School and voiced his pride in having their auditorium bear his name, commented, “ I am absolutely thrilled and privileged to see this Hall bear my name, which has through many years hosted prominent celebrities in our country’s history.”
The commemorative inscription bearing the name of Dr. Salim G. Sfeir was then unveiled, followed by a reception to celebrate this very special occasion.
