Notre Dame University Launches Executive Lounge in Collaboration with Bank Audi

The Faculty of Business Administration and Economics at Notre Dame University (NDU) – Zouk Mosbeh, in collaboration with Bank Audi, has launched the “NDU-Bank Audi Executive Lounge” which will be put at the disposal of faculty staff, graduate students, professionals and businessmen.

Were present at the event: Reverend Father Walid Moussa, President of NDU, Reverend Father Bechara El Khoury, Vice-president for Financial Affairs, Dr. Elie Manasseh, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics, Mrs. Grace Eid, Head of Retail Banking Lebanon at Bank Audi, Mr. Georges Sayess, branch manager of the Bank’s Zouk branch, as well as representatives from the Bank and staff members and students at NDU. 

With this partnership, Bank Audi commits to offer the university a number of services, among which the selection of 10 students who fit the required criteria and who will benefit from internships in all the business lines offered by the Bank. The Bank will also provide NDU staff and students with tailor-made offers.

Dr. Elie Manasseh first took the floor and highlighted the importance of this launch in the context of a fruitful cooperation with Bank Audi. 

Mrs. Grace Eid underlined that the opening of the lounge is a practical step in the collaboration between the Bank and the university, which is part of a long term partnership with NDU. Eid emphasized that “both institutions agree on a common strategy which consists in empowering students and helping them grow beyond their potential.”

As for Reverend Father Walid Moussa, he said: “Universities play a considerable role in the education of the youth, but partnerships with involved institutions turn societies into societies of knowledge and contribute to the development of Lebanon”. He added: “Within the framework of this project, we are trying, together with Bank Audi, to provide our students with ways to develop their full potential with a view to integrating the labour market, especially the banking sector.” 

A memorandum of understanding was then signed between NDU, represented by Reverend Father Bechara El Khoury and Dr. Elie Manasseh, and Bank Audi, represented by Mrs. Grace Eid and Mr. Georges Sayess.
