Lebanese Banks and financial corporations of the UAB members unanimously re-elected President Joseph Torbey to represent Lebanon in the Union Board of Directors, for a term of 3 years, from May 1^st, 2016 till April 30^th, 2019. The General Assembly of Members will be held in Kuwait on March 31^st, 2016.

The Union of Arab Banks (UAB) includes 340 banks and is the largest banking and financial group in the Arab region. Dr. Torbey currently serves as the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Union. He was previously the Union Chairman of the Board of Directors for two consecutive terms.
