Actively involved in favor of social progress and civic causes, and in the framework of its solidarity commitments, Societe Generale de Banque au Liban signed a partnership agreement with the Order of Malta Lebanon, an association that aims to promote, through its humanitarian work throughout the Lebanese territory, Human Dignity, Coexistence and Peace.
This long-term agreement aims to facilitate and to support the commitment of Lebanese youth towards the Order of Malta in favor of the most vulnerable, especially people with special needs.
The signature took place at SGBL's headquarters, in the presence of Philippe Dubois, Deputy CEO of SGBL, Georges Saghbini, Deputy General Manager, Marwan Sehnaoui, President of the Order of Malta Lebanon, as well as members of the bank and the association.
On this occasion, Philippe Dubois affirmed: "I am pleased about this partnership with the Order of Malta, a leading association whose very effective action in Lebanon is entirely turned towards the weakest, regardless of their belonging. This agreement confirms the commitment of SGBL along with its employees towards society, particularly in favor of social development and the respect of others beyond their differences. With the Order of Malta, we plan these actions through time, to support the Lebanese youth whose dedication and generosity impress me much. "
Lastly, for his part, Marwan Sehnaoui added: "In order to pursue our multiple and important action with the poor, the sick, the elderly and the disabled people, with love and quality, as well as to train our young people to selflesness, we are very pleased that today, thanks to this partnership with SGBL, with whom we share traditional values, we continue to reach our objectives with enthusiasm and hope. For 2016, our joint efforts will focus on developping our volunteer camps serving the disabled people in our Chabrouh Center".
