The Association of Banks in Lebanon hosted a luncheon in honor of Dr. Naaman Azhari, Chairman of BLOM Bank s.a.l. Group, in recognition of his contribution to the banking sector, which was held on September 19, 2014 in Restaurant The Eau de Vie, Phoenicia hotel.
Many personalities attended the luncheon, mainly former State President Fouad Siniora, Minister of Economy and Trade Alan Hakim, The Central Bank Governor Riad Salameh, the head of the economic bodies and a former minister Adnan Kassar, The Chairman of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture Mohammed Choucair, the head of the Association of Industrialists Sheikh Fadi Gemayel, the President of the Chamber of Commerce in Tripoli, Tawfic Debussy, and a large number of Board members and senior managers of banks operating in Lebanon, in addition to representatives of the media.
Just before the lunch, President Dr. François Bassil and Dr. Naaman Azhari delivered a speech on the occasion.
