A delegation of ABL Board of Directors chaired by Dr. Joseph Torbey, visited on the occasion of the New Year, the Speaker of the House Mr. Nabih Berri, and to thank the members of parliament that adopted the financial legislations that impact on financial relations between Lebanon and world markets.

The delegation praised the role of President Berri for the adoption of the financial legislation that will further strengthen the banking sector, as it is important in this framework to promote best practices by Lebanese banks. The delegation expressed its deep appreciation to members who have enabled this achievement that would facilitate financial transfers to and from Lebanon and strengthen the role of Beirut as a financial center in the region.
