On the eve of the “Conference of Parties COP21” (from November 30 till December 11, 2015) which was held in Paris, the Francophone Banking Union (UBF), of which the Association of Banks in Lebanon is one of the founding members, has published a document entitled "La Contribution de l’Union Bancaire Francophone dans la Lutte Contre le Changement Climatique”.

This document clearly reflects the commitment of banks and associations members of the Union to a number of environmental targets, confirming the role of the banking sector in the fight against climate change. (Text available only in French).
