The Makers by Byblos Bank visit Lebanese universities

December 01 2015

As part of its ongoing support to Lebanese youth, Byblos Bank showcased its flagship The Makers Account, designed exclusively for 18 to 24 year olds, at several Lebanese universities to spread awareness about how it can help them become the Makers of tomorrow.

This special initiative consisted of innovative stands which were set up during the months of October and November at the Holy Spirit University in Kaslik (USEK), Saint-Joseph University (USJ), Notre Dame University (NDU), the American University of Technology (AUT) and the American University of Beirut (AUB).

Through this presence, university students were informed about the unique benefits and advantages of The Makers Account, including: zero account and card fees; generous rewards though the Akram Program, Lebanon’s most generous card loyalty plan; all-year round discounts from the Bank’s preferred partners; innovative high-tech payment methods; and exclusive special offers on training sessions, workshops and seminars. Visitors also had the chance to experience, for the first time in Lebanon, the “Oculus” 4D, a virtual reality headset that immerses people into a virtual world.

Byblos Bank, one of Lebanon’s foremost banks, is a leader in the field of consumer banking in Lebanon. With the launch of The Makers Account, the Bank confirms its forward position in the Lebanese banking industry and in the field of advanced and modern retail banking solutions.
