As part of its continuous efforts, since 2011, to strengthen the relations of Lebanese banks with the international financial markets, a delegation from the Board of Directors of the Association of Banks in Lebanon will visit New York and Washington from May 15 to 19, 2017. The delegation is headed by ABL President, Dr. Joseph Torbey, and some of the board members, namely:  Messrs. Saad Azhari, Walid Rafael, Tanal Sabbah, Nadim Kassar, Mohamed Ali Beyhum, Chahdan Jebeily and ABL Secretary General, Dr. Makram Sader.

The delegation will be holding working meetings in New York with the US Head of banks' correspondent departments to Lebanese banks. The delegation will also meet in Washington with the executive officials of the Ministries of Treasury and Foreign Affairs that are concerned with the Lebanese affairs.

The delegation of the Association of Banks will also meet with heads and members of several financial and banking committees in the US House of Representatives and Senate.
