The Association of Banks in Lebanon organized a seminar on "Mediation", in collaboration with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) held in the premises of the ABL.

Mrs. Fadwa Mansour, Director of Training at the ABL and Mr. Jacob Thomas, Director of IFC in Lebanon inaugurated the seminar attended by 35 HR managers and recoveries of loans in banks and Legal advisors.

The importance of mediation and the role of the mediator along with the means applied in the world in solving trade disputes and the benefits it brings to the institutions that apply were defined. A practical model followed the presentation.

"The Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR)" chosen by the IFC, manages the seminar in view of its competencies and large experience in the application of mediation in business worldwide.
