Uber and BLOM BANK are proud to announce their coming together to create a world’s first when it introduced UberBLOM, a Visa prepaid reloadable card, developed exclusively for Uber Riders.  

UberBLOM Cards, which can be purchased online and at all BLOM BANK branches from today, enables everyone and anyone to enjoy safe, convenient and reliable rides in Beirut or any of the other 330 cities Uber is currently present in.  

In thanking its partner BLOM BANK for joining Uber on this drive to develop the product, Sebastien Wakim, General Manager at Uber Beirut said UberBLOM was developed in response to many requests received from the public, especially amongst youths and parents wanting safe, reliable rides for their children.

The UberBLOM reloadable prepaid card, which can be personalized, has an annual fee of $8, payable upon collection. The card can be purchased online at blomretail.com and is available to all BLOM BANK and non-BLOM BANK customers.  

The cards can be used for Uber rides in Beirut or any of the 330+ cities Uber is currently present in, worldwide.

In conjunction with the introduction of this new product, all first-time Uber riders who purchase the UberBLOM card will be entitled to enjoy the first 2 rides for free.

Cards can be reloaded at any BLOM ATM at only $1, or $4 if the reloads are made over the counter at any BLOM BANK branch.

BLOM BANK customers may reload their card for free through eBLOM, BLOM BANK’s online banking service.
